Dead Halo Rising are five mates brought together by friendship, a shared love of rock music and one simple idea — get in a room, turn the amps up and see what happens.
The story began more than a decade ago after a night out at a gig in Camden. Davidoff and his brother Marcus met Karlos, and after a few drinks the usual conversation between Dead Halo Rising are five mates brought together by friendship, a shared love of rock music and one simple idea — get in a room, turn the amps up and see what happens.
The story began more than a decade ago after a night out at a gig in Camden. Davidoff and his brother Marcus met Karlos, and after a few drinks the usual conversation between musicians began: “We should get together and have a jam sometime.”
Unlike most drunken promises, this one actually happened.
Marcus brought along his friends Freddie and Stephan, completing the five-piece line-up: Davidoff on vocals and rhythm guitar, Marcus on lead guitar, Karlos on drums, Stephan on bass and Freddie on keyboards.
From the first jam, something clicked. A guitar riff became a song. One song became two, then three, and before long the band were spending weekend after weekend writing, playing and recording. Davidoff and Karlos formed the main songwriting partnership, with the whole band bringing their own character to the music.
Within a matter of weeks, they had created enough material for an album.
